The UK is Glorious

Sorry everybody about not posting in such a long while but I have been pretty busy. I have helped run a week of 24-7 prayer the first week of Oct, Have had two training blocks, And finally cell groups and alpha and my after school club has all started so you can see why I have been so busy the last few weeks. Here are some photos from are prayer week: Those are just a few photos from the prayer week all post more in my myspace page. Something that has been hitting me in the last little has been compassion and how I feel for it. A quote from David ruis: our prayer rooms need to be dripping with compassion. I think this is why I really feel for compassion. I learned during the prayer week to be still and know that he is there. Something that was prayed over me was that I would be a bright shining light as bright as my orange shirts. I was like crazy!!! In the last week East 2 West had there 10th anniversary on sat. It has been cool to work with them over the past month. I help out with an after school club through them on Wednesdays. I helped cook the food for the anniversary that was so much fun and amazing food I tell you. This is sue are wallpaper that two of the guys put up. It is a picture that one of my mates brought from Ireland. I am sure there is more stuff then this but I can't remember it all. Anyway cheers everybody!!!

Trip To London

Hello Mates well I was in London for the weekend at the ILG witch stands for the international leaders gathering. It was an amazing conference to hear all about what god is doing all over this world. There were people from about I would say 20 countries if not more. Over the weekend at the ILG people told stories of what god is doing in there countries, so I heard stories from Germany, The UK parliament, Slovakia, Switzerland, New Zealand, Ibiza, Kansas City, China, South Africa, And many more countries. And many other stories one from Kelly green about what she is doing in Mexico some encouraging verses from her talk were Isaiah 62, 45, and Matt 7:7. I was just like crazy things are happening all over this world when I heard all of the stories over the weekend. The worship was headed up by David Ruis who is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and is now with the vineyard church in L.A. His unique style of worship was really cool and I loved it. The other worship band is from the UK and are new to the industry, loved there music as well. Well enough about the conference all tell you the sights I got to see. Well I was in awe when I saw big Ben, Parliament, And the London eye. Well those are some pictures well I was in London. Well last week was my first time to the west London boiler room and I was in awe when I stepped in the room it was amazing to finally see, after all my prayer and other people's prayers for me to be at the west London boiler room. Here are some photos of the room: There are more pictures of the prayer room witch all post later on in a separate blog. "Our prayer rooms need to be dripping with compassion" Quote from David Ruis. I love that quote and it totally needs to be put into practice. Anyway the prayer room stuff was not part of the London trip if anyone is confused. Blessings Shaun

Flight/arriving at gatwick/ Sunbury

So I learned yesterday that I need to arrive at the airport way eairer then I did. I ended up making it to the gates allright. When I boarded the airplane to gatwick my seat was right infront of the washroom. That was quite annoying and quite a smellie plane ride if ya know what i mean. The inflight movies that were playing were over the hedge and notra lebra something is how that one is spelled i really dont know!! Over the hedge was an awsome movie and i would rent it if u can i loved it. The plane ride had little turbulance so that was great but i didn't sleep at all during the flight but thats allright. so all and all I can't complane about the flight and it was about 7 hours long. Ok now clearing customs was another question. The line up to clear customs was crazy long and it probley took me about 45mins to an hour to get to a customs person. Now I allmost didn't clear customs because I had no paperwork saying what I was doing here in england. I told you Adam that i needed to print out that sheet that had andy freeman's details about him self cuz it also had an address. But by god's grace and mercy the customs lady let me into the country. AWSOME!!!!! Then i picked up me baggege and carried on to meet Andy freeman. What a blessing that was, so then we got on the highway but they dont call it that I think it is called a freeway. So we were flying along the freeway and then wam traffic. But andy freeman said it was because they didnt finish the construction the weekend witch usually happens alot he said. So then we got through the traffic and were flying again and finally made it to are destion witch was the supermarket witch was a neat experenice. A fter the supermarket we finally arrived at sunbury crt, Witch was a conference center where we are kicking things off. I got there at about 1pm there time. So after i walked in and meet everybody i had lunch cuz i was starving. After i ate lunch i took a nap cuz i was exhausted. After my nap i went for a walk with some of the hosts of the course but i could't tell ya where the heck we went. When we came back from the walk it was time for dinner. It was curry. With a spice kick that u would not believe. Adam you would have loved it!!! Not saying i didn't enjoy it. Wow len was right about different tastes over here it's great. After dinner i did devo's and wrote in my journal. Anyway enough rambling on i got to go to the pub. This was sept 4th's journal when i wrote this. Anyway talk to u all later

God Bless

Leaving Tomorrow

So I am off to England. Pam is making me start a blog to keep you all up to date on what's happening to me in England... she even took a picture of me creating this first post. Don't know when, or how often I'll be able to update this, but hopefully this will make it easier for me to keep in touch with you.

Please make sure to leave your comments (I love to hear your encouraging words). Miss you all, back before you know it!

God Bless

Shaun
